The lock system is based on the axis lock but with a sliding system at the top of the pocket knife that is completely closed so that no dirt can get between the springs.

This anniversary model HK-TL-02-75 is equipped with titanium side plates inlay of Dessert Ironwood and stainless steel screws and bussing.
The liners (1.0 mm thick) that are mounted next to the grip plates are made of 1.4310 hardened stainless steel spring steel (47 HRC) and are highly polished and provide an extra nice contrast to the whole.
